Manufacturing Site Leader & Technical Sales Representative
One of our clients in the Packaging industry is looking to fill a unique role at one of their manufacturing facilities in greater Annapolis, MD area. This person will lead Sales efforts in addition to having Site Leadership responsibilities.
Title: Manufacturing Site Leader & Sales Representative

Compensation: $110,000-120,000
Location: Greater Annapolis, MD Area
Responsibilities:
- Transition into site operations leadership by learning and managing production, safety, quality, maintenance, and performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Develop people and operational leadership skills by managing teams or projects, supporting hiring and training efforts, overseeing equipment reliability, and assisting with budgeting, cost control, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Serve as a technical sales and customer liaison, providing product guidance, preparing quotes, managing orders end‑to‑end, and supporting existing and new customer relationships.
- Translate customer requirements into solutions by interpreting technical drawings and specifications and collaborating with engineering, production, and sales to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
- Support sales growth initiatives through upselling, cross‑selling, lead follow‑up, and technical support for outside sales representatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with 6+ years in a manufacturing environment spanning technical sales, customer service, or operations.
- Strong technical aptitude, including familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, mechanical components, and the ability to quickly learn product details and production workflows.
- Proven systems proficiency, with experience using ERP and CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and production or operations management tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, support customers effectively, and drive solutions.
- Leadership potential and performance focus, demonstrated through customer satisfaction, sales growth, operational efficiency, safety compliance, cost control, employee engagement, and readiness to progress into site leadership.
