Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance and electrical/instrumentation technicians, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring equipment reliability through sound maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to high performance standards.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.
- Analyze and improve maintenance systems and workflows.
- Utilize KPIs and root cause analysis to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure adherence to planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Support and enhance the Equipment Maintenance Plan (EMP).
- Participate in FMEA and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Supervise and support maintenance and E&I technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
- Use CMMS for work orders, inventory, procurement, and data analysis.
- Oversee performance management, timekeeping, and employee development.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members.
- Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented team environment.
- Provide backup support and complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in a STEM field (Engineering preferred). Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with industrial equipment such as evaporators, heat exchangers, centrifuges, boilers, pumps, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability-centered maintenance.
- CMRP certification or similar is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.
- Deep understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE.
- Capable of responding to emergencies and working outside normal hours as needed.
