Sales Analyst
A leading paper products company is currently seeking a Sales Analyst to leverage data analytics and Power BI to drive strategic decision-making across sales, finance, and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong understanding of sales performance metrics and manufacturing KPIs.
Responsibilities for the Sales Analyst:
  • Design and implement data models and dashboards to support senior leadership and sales teams.
  • Develop Power BI reports to monitor KPIs such as sales, gross profit, inventory, production mass balance, downtime, scrap rates, OEE, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales, plant, and supply chain teams to gather reporting requirements and build forecasting models.
  • Integrate data from ERP systems and Microsoft platforms including Syspro, IQMS, Ritescan, OpenDock, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Write SQL queries and perform ETL tasks using Power Query to ensure clean, accurate data.
  • Provide actionable insights and visualizations to highlight performance trends and variances.
  • Automate reporting for daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews.
  • Maintain data security and manage report access in compliance with company policies.
  • Train and support end users in interpreting and utilizing reports effectively.
Requirements for the Sales Analyst:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query (M), Power Automate, SQL, DAX, and Excel.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems and ERP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of sales and financial KPIs, with experience working with executive leadership in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate and/or Lean Six Sigma certification.
