Maintenance Supervisor
An industry leading Food and Beverage manufacturing firm is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor

Job Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of production equipment and facility systems.
- Perform hands-on work involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Lead a team of 8-12 maintenance staff, assigning daily tasks and overseeing progress on repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain and improve preventative maintenance schedules for systems such as steam, air, refrigeration, water, and production machinery.
- Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure timely completion of work orders and safety checks.
- Uphold safety standards and report any concerns to appropriate personnel, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal policies.
- Take part in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.
Skills and Requirements
- Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field is a plus.
- At least 5 years in industrial maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Background in food or dairy processing is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Skilled in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including 480V equipment.
- Familiar with preventative maintenance systems and industrial safety standards.
- Ability to read schematics and perform basic welding and fabrication.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong team leadership and coordination skills.
- Clear communicator with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems under pressure.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for planning and reporting.
- Physical Demands:
- Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working in physically demanding environments.
- Regular climbing, bending, kneeling, and walking required.
- Must be able to work in varying weather and facility condition
