Summary:
A leading consumer healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Planner / Buyer to support the planning processes across contract manufacturing. This role is responsible for finished goods planning, inventory management, and contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage inventory levels for finished goods, WIP, and packaging materials related to contract manufacturing
* Create and manage purchase orders aligned with demand plans and MRP to ensure product availability
* Maintain master production schedules for assigned contract manufactured products
* Monitor supplier performance, lead times, back orders, and delivery to mitigate supply risks
* Analyze pricing updates and purchase price variances to identify cost‑reduction opportunities
* Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) within ERP systems
* Prepare and distribute monthly forecast updates to key stakeholders
* Partner with Quality, R&D, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to support new product introductions
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning & procurement
* Strong experience managing contract or outsourced manufacturing partners
* Background in CPG, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred
* Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, and inventory management
* ERP experience required; SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP preferred
* APICS CSCP or similar certification a plus
* Strong analytical, organizational, and cross‑functional communication skills
