Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven SIOP Planning Manager to lead and optimize our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes. This role is critical in aligning demand and supply planning, improving forecast accuracy, and ensuring inventory optimization across the manufacturing network. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Excel, SAP, and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SIOP process to align sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts.
  • Utilize SAP to manage and analyze supply chain data, production schedules, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel models to support scenario planning, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present monthly SIOP reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Identify supply chain risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between long-term strategic plans and short-term operational execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in SIOP, demand planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP (APO, IBP, or ECC modules) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
