Job Title: Production Planner
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 + Bonus Potential
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing organization in the Charlotte area to identify a detail-oriented and driven Production Planner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation where you'll play a key role in aligning production schedules, material availability, and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
- Utilize SAP (MM & PP modules) to manage planning, materials, and production workflows
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust plans accordingly
- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and capacity constraints
- Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and process efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (planning, scheduling, or materials)
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) - required
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
