Operations Manager- 3PL
Our client, a leading global 3PL, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations within a high-volume distribution facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving safety, productivity, labor efficiency, and customer performance while leading a team of supervisors, managers, and hourly associates. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a track record of improving operational performance while maintaining a culture focused on safety and accountability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead all warehouse and distribution operations within the facility
- Drive safety, productivity, quality, and customer service performance
- Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workforce efficiency
- Maintain accountability for operational costs and facility performance metrics
- Coach, develop, and mentor supervisors, assistant managers, and frontline leaders
- Ensure accurate reporting related to productivity, labor, safety, payroll, and operational KPIs
- Partner cross-functionally with transportation, customer service, HR, and other operational teams
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and safety standards
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork and accountability
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading operations in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, logistics, transportation, or supply chain environment
- Proven ability to lead large teams through multiple layers of management
- Strong understanding of labor planning, productivity management, and operational KPIs
- Experience managing facility-level financial performance and operating costs
- Ability to coach and develop frontline leadership teams
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Comfortable working with WMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
