Senior Process Engineer
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support a highly automated manufacturing operation. This individual will be responsible for improving production processes, increasing equipment reliability, leading automation and capital projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. The role partners closely with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to enhance safety, productivity, and overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, downtime reduction, and cost savings.
- Support and optimize automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and production equipment.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and CI initiatives across the facility.
- Lead capital projects from concept through implementation, including equipment selection, justification, and startup.
- Support new product introductions, process development, tooling design, and production scale-up activities.
- Develop manufacturing documentation, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical support to plant operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of manufacturing, process, or production engineering experience.
- Experience in a high-volume or automated manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause problem solving.
- Exposure to robotics, automation, PLCs, or advanced manufacturing technologies is preferred.
- Proven project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
