We're partnering with a leading agricultural processing manufacturer seeking an experienced Process Engineering Subject Matter Expert to support soybean processing and extraction operations.

This role serves as the technical authority for process optimization, troubleshooting, reliability improvements, and capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for soybean processing and solvent extraction operations.
Lead troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and process optimization efforts.
Support safety, quality, yield, throughput, and cost improvement initiatives.
Develop project scopes, equipment specifications, and engineering design requirements.
Support capital projects, startups, commissioning, and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, and process standards.
Coach plant teams on process engineering best practices and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years of process engineering experience within soybean processing, oilseed extraction, edible oils, or similar continuous manufacturing environments.
Experience with process optimization, project development, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of process safety, plant operations, and industrial systems.
PE, PMP, or similar certifications are preferred.
