Quality Director
A rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company in the energy storage and electrification sector is seeking a Quality Director to lead quality strategy across manufacturing operations, warehousing, and supplier management. This is a key leadership role supporting a major production ramp-up at a newly established U.S. manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of quality across manufacturing, warehousing, customer quality, product quality, and supplier quality.
- Develop and implement quality systems, tools, and processes to support operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and resource optimizing.
- Ensure successful production scale-up while maintaining customer requirements and product performance standards.
- Oversee supplier quality programs and collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
- Manage customer-facing quality initiatives, issue resolution, and aftermarket support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of manufacturing quality leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success implementing quality systems and supporting production ramp-ups.
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and quality management systems.
Preferred Experience
- Six Sigma, ASQ CQE, or other quality certifications.
- Experience in automotive, battery, EV, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Background in supplier quality and global supply chain operations.
Compensation
- Base salary: $180,000 - $230,000
- 20% annual bonus
