Role

The Director of Sales is responsible for driving business growth, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding key accounts. This leadership role also involves managing internal teams, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to strategic decision-making.


Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
    • Develop international key accounts and target specific verticals or trade lanes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth client onboarding.
    • Maintain CRM data and respond to global sales leads.
  • Team Leadership

    • Manage performance and development of the Customer Services Team.
    • Foster a culture aligned with company values: Integrity, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Empowerment.
    • Implement training and mentoring programs for key staff.
  • Strategic & Operational Oversight

    • Participate in policy-making and strategic decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide financial insights and support operational planning.
    • Maintain quality standards and uphold health & safety protocols.
  • Reporting & Collaboration

    • Assist in preparing reports and financial data.
    • Support cross-departmental collaboration and contribute to company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the logistics industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and proactive mindset.
  • Solid understanding of operational procedures, quality systems, and health & safety standards.
