About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading engineering and infrastructure consultancy supporting the delivery of large-scale transportation, infrastructure, and capital projects. As part of continued project growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Logistics & Site Management Project Lead to join a multidisciplinary team focused on the successful planning and execution of complex construction programs.
This position plays a critical role in developing and implementing construction logistics strategies that enable projects to be delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Successful candidates will act as a key interface between project teams, contractors, planners, authorities, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader as a key part of their civil construction team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive construction logistics and site management strategies for major infrastructure and capital projects.
- Support construction phase planning and assess project execution strategies for logistical feasibility.
- Identify site access constraints, logistical bottlenecks, scheduling risks, and operational challenges throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate activities between designers, contractors, project managers, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead planning workshops and facilitate discussions related to construction sequencing and project execution.
- Prepare technical scopes of work and logistics specifications to support procurement and tendering processes.
- Evaluate contractor proposals and contribute to bid assessment and project award activities.
- Monitor project progress against planned logistics strategies and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Prepare management reports, project reviews, and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support the successful delivery of projects while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Infrastructure Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience managing or supporting complex construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Experience in construction logistics, site management, project controls, project planning, construction management, or infrastructure delivery.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site operations, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to analyze complex project scenarios and develop practical, risk-based solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
- Structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach to project delivery.
- Fluency in German and strong professional communication skills.
