About the Opportunity A major global retail brand is scaling its supply chain into the center of its business, investing heavily in world-class automated warehouse systems. As part of an aggressive growth strategy, they're adding headcount and looking for a hands-on, proactive automation and maintenance engineer to keep a 24/7 operation running without interruption.
What You'll Do
- Own daily automated machine maintenance and drive maximum equipment availability - automation simply cannot stop.
- Respond to equipment failures with root-cause analysis and corrective action, taking initiative before issues escalate.
- Partner with the maintenance team and a top-tier automation vendor to deploy, maintain, and continuously improve conveyor systems and emerging robotics (robotic motor / mobile robot technology).
- Develop maintenance plans, predictive maintenance strategies, and reliability improvements.
- Prepare for peak seasons and major product launches, coordinating cross-functionally and with global headquarters.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and improving automated systems (conveyor, robotics, WMS-integrated).
- A genuinely proactive self-starter who jumps on problems and takes initiative - not a reactive operator.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, lightly structured 24/7 environment.
- Adaptable, technically strong, and excited to be part of a globally recognized brand.
Schedule & Environment
Monday-Friday core schedule with on-call availability for emergencies. Warehouse runs 24/7, Monday-Sunday.
