Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products in a high-volume, multi-site environment. This role ensures alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements by managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, storage, and material issuance.
  • Design and maintain efficient material flow and delivery systems to production lines.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy for components and finished goods.
  • Supervise physical inventory processes across assigned warehouse locations.
  • Foster team development, performance, and growth through effective leadership.
  • Oversee warehouse processes, equipment, personnel, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with 6S principles.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Monitor departmental metrics, drive continuous improvement, and maintain performance scorecards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate material handling.
  • Coordinate damage-free, on-time shipments of all products.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in warehouse methods, equipment, and space utilization.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial targets are met.

Supervisory Duties

This role includes full supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution, in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial warehouse environment, preferably in facilities over 100,000 sq. ft.
  • Proven experience in warehouse layout optimization and material handling equipment selection.
  • Lean manufacturing experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized materials management systems.

Certifications

Certifications in APICS or Purchasing Management are highly desirable.
