Construction Account Manager
Overview:
This role is focused on driving growth and maintaining client relationships within the commercial construction sector. The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand market share and revenue.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new leads while nurturing existing accounts to ensure long-term retention and growth.
- Monitor industry dynamics and competitor activity to stay ahead of market shifts and customer expectations.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of service offerings, pricing models, and customer-specific solutions.
- Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients to support revenue expansion and pricing alignment.
- Draft and finalize service agreements tailored to client needs.
- Lead negotiations to preserve client relationships during pricing or service changes.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community engagements to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to resolve service issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess service performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for client retention and revenue growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Skills & Competencies:
- Demonstrated success in sales with a history of exceeding revenue goals and managing client portfolios.
- Ability to quickly absorb new information and apply it to strategic business decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in negotiation and time management.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including active listening and persuasive presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and self-motivation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the waste management or environmental services industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
