Continuous Improvement Lead
Position Summary:
As Continuous Improvement Lead you will drive operational efficiency by applying Lean principles and process optimization strategies at the plant level. This role partners cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
As Continuous Improvement Lead you will have the following responsibilities:
- Utilize Lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Review current workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Deliver training sessions and provide hands-on guidance on Lean tools and techniques.
- Track progress of Lean projects, evaluate results, and recommend adjustments for better outcomes and cost savings.
- Create and maintain standardized processes to ensure consistency and best practices.
As Continuous Improvement Lead you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years in a Lean or Continuous Improvement role with proven expertise in Lean principles and process optimization.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Lean tools such as Kaizen, Management for Daily Improvement (MDI), 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Root Cause Problem Solving, and Standard Work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective team collaborator.
