About the Company

We are partnering with a leading Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Company with a strong national footprint and a reputation for operational excellence. With ongoing investment in people, systems, and culture-including a recent Workday implementation-the organization is continuing to modernize and grow.

This is a high-impact opportunity to be the key HR presence on-site in Easton, working closely with operations while supported by a highly experienced HR Director based in California.

The Role

As the HR Generalist, you will serve as the "boots on the ground" HR partner, supporting day-to-day HR operations across a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires someone confident, hands-on, and comfortable managing a wide range of employee-related matters independently.

You will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring smooth HR processes across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting employees and managers on all HR matters
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including investigations, conflict resolution, and escalations
  • Oversee full employee lifecycle processes:
    • Hiring & onboarding
    • Performance management
    • Terminations and disciplinary actions
  • Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement initiatives and improve workplace culture
  • Support and leverage the newly implemented Workday HRIS
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
  • Collaborate with the remote HR Director and broader HR team on strategy and best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in employee relations (this is a core focus)
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a site-based role with remote leadership support
  • Experience handling sensitive HR matters including hiring, firing, and escalations
  • Exposure to Workday (highly preferred)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Resilient, proactive, and not afraid of a challenge
