Summary:
A leading manufacturer and distributor is seeking a Logistics Process Improvement Leader to drive operational excellence across its logistics and distribution functions. This role will focus on applying lean principles, automation, and data-driven strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive logistics efficiency using lean principles and automation.
- Standardize and optimize warehouse layouts, SOPs, and inventory strategies.
- Implement digital tools to replace manual processes and reduce costs.
- Lead contractor coordination and internal training on new systems.
- Support budgeting and analytics using tools like Power BI and AI.
- Ensure compliance with warehousing and shipping regulations.
- Promote safety and continuous improvement aligned with ISO standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years in warehouse management and international logistics.
- Expertise in data analytics (Power BI), ERP systems, and warehouse automation.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and import/export compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Comfortable with occasional travel and extended work hours.
