Maintenance and Reliability Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee and lead maintenance operations within our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance processes, and managing a team to support safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all machinery and equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of parts and services
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning tools
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA or relevant safety standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
