Operations Manager
We are partnered with a leading food manufacturer who is seeking a senior operational leader to support continued expansion, drive plant performance, and lead strategic manufacturing initiatives. Responsibilities
- Leading overall manufacturing operations, including production, performance management, and team development
- Setting direction for both immediate operational priorities and long-term facility goals
- Coaching and developing frontline leadership to strengthen bench strength and consistency across shifts
- Identifying opportunities to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and optimize equipment utilization
- Partnering cross-functionally with leadership to align operations with broader business objectives
- Supporting capital planning, new line implementation, and process enhancements
- Managing budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring timelines are met for key initiatives
- Reviewing production metrics and implementing corrective actions when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of progressive experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments
- Experience in regulated environments with strong food safety and quality standards
- Track record of success in a leadership role within a fast-paced production facility
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, or continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial
