Product Manager
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Product Manager with deep experience in the aftermarket automotive industry. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique challenges and opportunities in the aftermarket space, including parts distribution, customer behavior, and evolving technologies. You will lead the development and lifecycle of products that serve automotive professionals and enthusiasts, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for aftermarket automotive products.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-impact products.
- Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the automotive aftermarket.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in the aftermarket automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts, distribution channels, and customer segments (DIY, DIFM, fleets, etc.).
- Proven track record of launching successful products in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Trello).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms or digital marketplaces.
- Familiarity with telematics, diagnostics, or connected car technologies.
- Background in supply chain or logistics within the automotive sector.
