Quality Manager (2nd or 3rd Shift)
Our client, a growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Manager to lead food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs within a high-volume production facility across the 2nd and/or 3rd shift. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure products are manufactured safely and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of food safety, quality, and sanitation programs
- Lead investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
- Support audit readiness and participate in audits
- Analyze quality data and identify trends and risks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop quality team members to build accountability and technical capability
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen quality culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or science-related field
- 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality or food safety
- Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and FDA regulations
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action programs
- Continuous improvement experience or certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Prior leadership experience preferred as a supervisor or manager
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
