Quality Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-driven Quality Manager to lead the quality assurance and control functions at our client's high-purity chemical manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all quality systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical manufacturing, with expertise in managing quality programs in environments requiring ultra-high purity standards for industries such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, or electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal specifications and external regulatory standards
Lead quality control testing, documentation, and release of high-purity chemical products
Manage internal and external audits, customer quality requirements, and CAPA processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce variability
Collaborate with R&D, production, and EHS teams to resolve quality issues and support new product introductions
Ensure calibration and validation of analytical equipment used in QC labs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in quality roles within high-purity or specialty chemical manufacturing
Strong knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), GMP, and analytical methods
Proven leadership and communication skills with a track record of managing teams and audits
Familiarity with semiconductor-grade or pharma-grade chemical production is highly desirable
