Sales Director
DSJ Global is partnering with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial 4PL provider looking to appoint a Senior Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition across Europe, with a strong focus on the Dutch market. This is a high-impact, "player-coach" role for someone who thrives in a hunter-led environment and wants to build and shape a commercial function from the ground up.
The Role:
- Lead new business development activities, with a primary focus on cold acquisition and hunting within target verticals
- Develop and execute a strategic sales approach to win large, complex 3PL/4PL and supply chain solutions deals
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (C-suite, VP Supply Chain, Procurement leaders) across prospective clients
- Work closely with internal solutions, operations, and leadership teams to tailor end-to-end logistics and supply chain offerings
- Play a key role in scaling the commercial organisation, with the opportunity to build and lead a team of BDMs focused on outbound sales
- Initially operate as an individual contributor, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure
Your Profile:
- Proven track record in winning new business ("hunter" mentality) within a 3PL, 4PL, or supply chain solutions environment
- Strong experience selling complex logistics or supply chain solutions
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers in large organisations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build and lead a future sales team
- Experience in the retail or consumer vertical is highly advantageous
- Based in the Netherlands, ideally within reach of Rotterdam
