Senior Analyst - Retail Planning & Analytics (Lifestyle Fashion)
My client who's a global fast-fashion retail group is seeking a commercially minded Senior Analyst- Retail Planning & Analytics to support their end‑to‑end retail and supply chain strategies. This role ensures optimal product flow from distribution centers to stores across multiple markets.
You will play a key role in maximizing sell‑through, improving inventory efficiency, and supporting global trading decisions through robust analysis and close partnership with merchandising, retail operations, and supply chain teams.
Job Responsibilities
Retail Allocation & Inventory Management
- Manage and execute store allocation strategies to ensure optimal stock positioning across a global retail network
- Support replenishment planning and size‑curve logic to improve availability and sell‑through performance
- Monitor inventory health, identifying risks and opportunities related to stock imbalance, aging inventory, and availability gaps
- Support seasonal launches, core business replenishment, and promotional periods
Merchandise Planning & Performance Analysis
- Analyze sales, inventory, and store‑level performance to support merchandise and allocation decisions
- Track and report on key retail KPIs including sell‑through, weeks of supply, stock turn, and full‑price performance
- Partner with merchandising and planning teams to align allocation and inventory strategies with commercial objectives
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to regional and global stakeholders
Supply Chain & Distribution Analysis
- Analyze inventory flow from distribution centres to stores to identify efficiency and execution gaps
- Support supply chain planning through demand and inventory analysis
- Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to improve allocation accuracy and product flow
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across distribution and replenishment processes
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Support the development and enhancement of allocation, planning, and reporting processes within a global operating model
- Maintain strong data governance, reporting accuracy, and performance tracking standards
- Contribute to system enhancements and process optimization initiatives
Job Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in any of these sectors such as retail allocation, merchandise planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics is considered
- Regional experience from global lifestyle fashion or sportswear retails is desired
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a commercial mindset
- Solid understanding of fashion retail KPIs, inventory flow, and seasonal trading patterns
- Advanced excel and data analysis skills; experience with retail planning or allocation systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross‑functionally
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese
