Technical Support Manager
Job Summary:
The Technical Support Manager leads a team responsible for providing expert technical assistance to internal stakeholders and external customers within the chemical manufacturing space. This role ensures timely resolution of product and process-related issues, supports product development and application engineering, and drives customer satisfaction through technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical support operations, including troubleshooting, product inquiries, and application guidance.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and support resources.
- Interface with customers to provide technical expertise and ensure product performance meets expectations.
- Support new product introductions and process optimization initiatives.
- Monitor support metrics and implement improvements to enhance service quality and responsiveness.
- Lead and mentor technical support staff to build a high-performing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in technical support or process engineering within chemical manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, safety standards, and quality systems.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and project management abilities.
