Sourcing Specialist
My client is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives for components and materials within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to deliver cost optimization, performance improvement, and supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and cost‑reduction initiatives across components and materials categories, including electrical, mechanical, gas systems, and aesthetic parts.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve best total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Conduct sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) supporting cost savings and new product development.
- Use data‑driven analysis to identify savings opportunities and improve quality, efficiency, and supply reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Materials teams to ensure timely supply and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and inventory management concepts.
- International sourcing experience is a plus.
