The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for…
- Leading end-to-end supply chain operations including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, delivery performance, and quality assurance
- Managing direct and indirect material suppliers across multiple facilities
- Overseeing production planning to align resources with customer demand
- Monitoring forecasts and adjusting supply strategies to ensure timely material availability
- Driving supplier performance through site visits, scorecards, and corrective actions
- Setting and managing inventory levels, minimizing obsolescence, and improving accuracy
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams
- Leading departmental budgeting and cost-reduction initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies
- Traveling 25-30% to support supplier development and operational alignment
- Championing continuous improvement and lean initiatives within the supply chain function
- Supporting contract negotiations and logistics strategies, including freight and warehousing
- Utilizing MRP systems and data analytics to inform decision-making and performance tracking
The Supply Chain Manager should have the following qualifications…
- A Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, including supplier development and logistics
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with cost reduction strategies
- Familiarity with APQP processes and new product introduction
- Working knowledge of MRP, purchasing, and inventory control systems
- Experience in standard costing, quote preparation, and supplier performance metrics
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across departments
