We are partnering with a leading FMCG organisation on a confidential search for a Global Vice President of Supply Chain. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the global supply chain strategy across all regions and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end global supply chain, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution
- Drive large-scale transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, agility, and sustainability across the supply chain
- Oversee global logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective and reliable delivery performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and operations teams to align supply chain strategy with business goals
- Build and lead high-performing, geographically dispersed teams
- Implement and optimise digital tools and systems to support supply chain visibility and decision-making
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a senior global supply chain leadership role within the FMCG sector
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-market supply chain transformations
- Deep expertise in logistics, distribution, and supply chain strategy
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing at C-suite level
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
- Willingness and ability to be on-site in Germany at least 3 days per week
