ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a supply chain executive to lead global sourcing initiatives for critical electronic and electromechanical components for a fast-paced, innovation-driven organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a long-term commodity strategy that supports innovation, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.
  • Global Supplier Management: Build and manage relationships with international suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to support new product development, cost reduction initiatives, and operational excellence.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, and market-based disruptions.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans to drive value and resilience.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and cost drivers to inform sourcing decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Global Engagement: Support international operations with up to 15% travel and flexible working hours to engage with teams and suppliers across EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in global sourcing or commodity management, with a focus on electronics or electromechanical components.
  • Proven success in developing and executing commodity strategies in a complex, global environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing international supplier relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess commercial risk and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead initiatives independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
