Title: Sales Application Engineer

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000k/yr

The Sales Application Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support and guidance to the sales team to help communicate product capabilities and value to customers, supporting the sales process from lead generation through deal closure.
  • Serving as a technical subject matter expert during customer interactions, including delivering detailed product explanations, technical demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Acting as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, and R&D to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Participating in customer meetings, site visits, and preinstall site surveys to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
  • Creating CAD drawings for proposals, permitting, and internal pricing processes.
  • Assisting with product installations and technology demonstration setups.
  • Staying current on building codes, industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor solutions to inform internal strategy.
  • Attending trade shows and industry events to support product education and brand visibility.

The Sales Application Engineer should have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Application Engineer or similar role, ideally within retail solutions or engineered product environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate within crossfunctional teams.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, proposal writing, and customerfacing presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including occasional international travel.
