Associate Quality Director (FMCG)
On behalf of a well known FMCG multinational corporation, we are seeking for a:
Associate Quality Director
Location: Shanghai, China
Industry: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee quality assurance and control functions across multiple manufacturing sites in China.
- Develop and implement robust quality systems aligned with global standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, safety, and compliance.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
- Mentor and develop quality team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within FMCG, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems.
- Proven track record in managing audits, driving improvements, and leading teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
