The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a well-established, globally connected freight forwarder.

This is a high-impact role offering the chance to take ownership of your market, build a strong client portfolio, and play a key role in driving growth across France. What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving new business growth across air and ocean freight solutions
  • Targeting and winning new clients across key industries (industrial, automotive, retail, healthcare)
  • Building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted partner to your customers
  • Managing the full sales cycle-from prospecting through to closing
  • Collaborating closely with operations and pricing teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions
  • Growing and developing key accounts, ensuring ongoing revenue expansion
  • Keeping ahead of market trends and identifying new commercial opportunities

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development within freight forwarding or logistics
  • Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight markets
  • A consistent track record of winning new business and hitting/exceeding targets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
  • Established network in France (Paris or Alsace region advantageous)
  • Fluent in French and English (German is a plus for Strasbourg-based candidates)
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and commercially astute
