Corporate Controls Engineer
My Client is
looking for a skilled Corporate Controls Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation and control systems across multiple facilities to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to support manufacturing operations.
- Design and implement control system architectures for new equipment and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, instrumentation, and electrical controls.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage documentation for control systems, including schematics, programming, and change logs.
- Provide technical support and training for plant personnel on control systems and automation technologies.
- Participate in capital projects, including specification, installation, and commissioning of control systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial networks, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA, OSHA, and other applicable safety standards.
