Global Engineering Quality Manager (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development and standardization of technical risk management processes across the full project lifecycle (e.g. FMEA - DFMEA, PFMEA, SFMEA)
- Drive the digital transformation of risk management through the implementation of modern tools (e.g. cloud-based solutions, dashboards, automated tracking systems)
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional FMEA workshops to ensure structured risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation
- Ensure full traceability of risks, proper documentation, and completion of measures across the entire value chain
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project Management to integrate risk assessments into product design and operational processes
- Conduct technical risk assessments, audits, and training sessions related to FMEA, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning
- Monitor relevant KPIs and report to senior management, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, or similar discipline)
- Several years of experience (approx. 7-10 years) in engineering quality or technical risk management
- Strong expertise in FMEA methodologies as well as technical risk assessment across the value chain
- Experience with digital quality and risk management tools (e.g. FMEA software, PLM systems)
- Solid knowledge of quality standards and methods (e.g. ISO 9001, root cause analysis, quality planning)
- Strong analytical and facilitation skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
