Manufacturing Operations Manager
One of our key clients is looking to hire an Operations Manager to support manufacturing operations across several of their facilities. This person will be instrumental in capacity planning, logistics, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality assurance.

Compensation: $135,000-$165,000 + bonus
Requirements:
- Manufacturing Capacity & Performance Management: Establish and execute strategies to measure, forecast, and optimize plant capacity to meet near‑term homebuilding demand and long‑term growth, while partnering with senior leadership to define and track key performance metrics.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Leadership: Design and oversee a safe, cost‑effective logistics strategy that supports delivery needs, scales with growth, mitigates risk, and manages escalations involving haulers, procurement, and manufacturing leadership.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement: Lead the Manufacturing Quality Program to drive continuous improvement, align processes across plants, resolve elevated quality issues, and ensure consistent root‑cause analysis and corrective action.
- Operational Excellence & Strategic Initiatives: Continuously assess operations to identify process and technology improvements, support the Brand Promise, drive vertical integration opportunities, and collaborate cross‑functionally with IT, Homebuilding, and Manufacturing leaders.
- People Leadership & Plant Enablement: Provide strong leadership and coaching to direct reports and cross‑functional teams, support new plant start‑ups with best practices and training, and manage special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education & Business Acumen: Bachelor's degree required (Business or Engineering preferred), with an MBA strongly preferred; experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, or cost control is highly valued.
- Leadership & Results Orientation: Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, with a proven record of developing teams, driving results, and achieving performance goals through coaching and organizational improvement.
- Strategic & Interpersonal Effectiveness: Strong communicator with the ability to influence all organizational levels, maintain a customer‑focused mindset, and collaborate effectively while managing conflict.
- Operational & Analytical Strength: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and decision‑making skills, with the flexibility to manage multiple deadlines and travel to other plant locations as needed.
