With a strong presence in Hamburg, our client is expanding their supply chain team and looking for a dynamic Material Planner to ensure seamless production and inventory flow.
Your Role:
As a Material Planner, you will play a critical role in the supply chain by managing the availability of raw materials and packaging to support production schedules. You'll collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain material requirement plans based on production forecasts and inventory targets
- Monitor supplier performance and manage order schedules to avoid shortages or excess
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align material availability with production needs
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning efficiency
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain within FMCG or manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- English and German Language Working Proficency
