NPI Process Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of products from prototype to mass production, ensuring all manufacturing and supply chain elements are prepared.
- Partner with design engineers to optimize product designs for manufacturability and testability.
- Develop and manage timelines, deliverables, and project milestones in coordination with project managers.
- Create and update essential manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flows, routings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Oversee pilot production runs and support ramp-up to full production.
- Identify potential risks in the NPI process and implement mitigation strategies.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts and cost-saving initiatives throughout the product introduction cycle.
- Organize and lead design and production readiness reviews.

- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD tools for modeling assemblies, schematics, and drafting.
- Basic knowledge of machine programming, computer logic, and I/O systems.
- Experience in process validation and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or NPI roles.
- Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and product data management tools is a plus.
