Job Title: Plant Manager - Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Location: Georgia

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at their food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering on production goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve OEE, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets and KPIs.
  • Manage plant budgets, capital projects, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and food safety regulations.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning and long-term growth.
  • Maintain a strong focus on employee engagement, training, and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in plant leadership within food and beverage.
  • Proven track record in cost reduction, process optimization, and automation integration.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
