Key Responsibilities
- Partner with key customers to understand technical needs and secure design wins.
- Support the transition of designs from concept to mass production.
- Create and manage technical documentation, including application notes and reference designs.
- Train field engineering teams on new products and system-level solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging applications and define technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product development teams to influence future product features and functionality.
- Perform system-level testing and validation of new products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Oversee the development of support tools such as evaluation boards, simulation models, and datasheets.
- Coordinate product documentation and tool releases in alignment with product launch timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in power electronics design or applications engineering.
- Proven track record of working with Tier 1 customers and securing design wins.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, EMI tools).
- Experience designing and troubleshooting complex power systems.
- Familiarity with simulation and design tools (e.g., Pspice, SIMetrix/Simplis, MATLAB, Excel, Mathcad).
