This position is responsible for leading process engineering efforts within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on improving safety, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance across multiple production lines. Responsibilities include analyzing existing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing engineered solutions to resolve recurring production issues. The role involves hands-on support on the plant floor, designing and updating equipment and facility layouts, supporting capital and automation projects, coordinating with vendors on equipment specifications and installations, and applying statistical and data-driven methods to evaluate process capability and performance. The individual supports production planning, labor and capacity analysis, and new product introductions while collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.

Qualified candidates typically have several years of manufacturing or process engineering experience, a strong foundation in process optimization and industrial problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with engineering and layout tools, statistical analysis, and data interpretation is expected, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Success in the role requires strong communication skills, a hands-on and safety-focused mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority while navigating both daily operational challenges and longer-term improvement initiatives.
