Procurement Specialist
A global Investment Management firm is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join their team in Manhattan.
Role: Procurement Analyst
Work-Model: Fully On-site 5 days a week in Manhattan - no hybrid/remote exceptions
Compensation: up to $160,000 Total Compensation
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and negotiate agreements across multiple spend categories, including software, hardware, and IT; experience with facilities, HR, professional services, subscriptions, and general supplies is a plus.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver value, reduce risk, and implement best‑in‑class sourcing strategies.
- Identify supplier consolidation opportunities and strengthen existing supplier relationships.
- Analyze data to uncover cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Conduct market research to evaluate suppliers and monitor industry trends.
- Drive procurement process improvements and operational efficiencies firm‑wide.
- Bachelor's degree (business-related) with 3+ years of indirect procurement experience, including technology spend.
- Proficient with generative AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Results-driven, innovative problem solver with strong ownership and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong listening and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to support others.
- Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems and Tableau preferred.
