Production Supervisor

A leading food manufacturer is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of food products. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, while fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate production activities to meet daily targets for safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive team environment focused on communication and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic oversight for day shift operations, ensuring alignment across production, quality assurance, maintenance, and sanitation.
  • Coach and develop Production Supervisors and frontline staff, ensuring proper training and performance development.
  • Standardize processes and tasks across shifts to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, GMPs, and regulatory standards through effective supervision and accountability.
  • Manage shift transitions and coordinate tasks across departments to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to monitor safety, quality, and team engagement.
  • Ensure accurate completion of required documentation and support food safety and quality programs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including line efficiency, waste reduction, and safety metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • HACCP and food safety training preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations in food manufacturing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production documentation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
