We are seeking a hands‑on Quality Manager to lead internal quality operations at a food manufacturing facility in MN. This role is ideal for a floor‑focused quality leader who enjoys building teams, partnering with operations, and driving strong internal quality systems in a fast‑paced environment.
The Quality Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead internal quality programs in a food manufacturing environment
- Manage and develop a team of 3 Quality Supervisors and Quality Technicians
- Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor
- Own internal quality systems, procedures, and documentation
- Partner closely with Operations and Food Safety to ensure alignment and execution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to internal quality performance
- Lead internal audits, deviations, corrective and preventive actions
- Build, develop, and retain a high‑performing quality team
The ideal Quality Manager candidate will have the following skillset:
- Experience in food processing or food manufacturing
- Proven leadership of quality teams in a hands‑on, plant‑level environment
- Strong understanding of internal quality systems and process controls
- USQF or other GFSI experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable being on the floor and making real‑time quality decisions
- Strong communicator and collaborative partner with operations
- Team‑builder focused on engagement and retention
