Safety Coordinator needed for leading Food Manufacturing Company

An Opportunity to join one of the country's leading food manufacturers as a Safety Coordinator at one of their main facilities in the greater Philadelphia area.
The Safety Coordinator will play in integral part in safety functions ranging from agenda setting, reporting compliance, trainings, and more.
Essential Functions Include:
- Communication effectively between Safety Department and Human Resources
- Keep relevant records and reports for state and federal documentation
- Coordinate and instruct safety and health training like: weekly meetings and new hire orientation
- Facilitate for the Safety Committee: attendance records, audits, and documentation
- Incident investigation
- Keep training records
- Ergonomic evaluation
- Work with Maintenance on safety work orders
- Screenings and Labor Law education
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a safety setting
- Experience in a large company
- Bilingual is a plus
- Microsoft Office
- OSHA General Industry
- 1st Aid and CPR Certification
Compensation and Benefits:
- $55,000 to $65,000
- Health and Welfare after 90 days
- 401k match and eligible after 1 year
