A global leader in the food and beverage space is looking to bring on a Sr. Demand Planner to their supply chain team. As a lead food ingredients supplier, they develop sustainable products across bakery, beverage, dairy, and snacking categories! This Sr. Demand Planner will support the forecast accuracy targets through continuous improvement efforts and demand planning functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 24-month rolling demand forecasts.
- Lead monthly Demand Review meetings with business leaders.
- Implement and manage a periodic consensus process.
- Define, measure, and track metrics to improve demand planning performance.
- Configure and maintain demand planning tools.
- Utilize statistical techniques to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Conduct scenario planning to optimize service levels and inventories.
- Lead and mentor a team of forecast analysts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant planning experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical modeling.
