Title: Sr. Director, Supply Chain
Salary: $180K+
Location: NYC (4x a week in office)
Company Profile: A leader in the retail/fashion space is looking for a forward-thinking, hands-on Senior Director, Supply Chain to lead the charge in evolving how we source, produce, and deliver these products. This person will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing supply chain across raw materials, sourcing, and production - through final delivery at the warehouse. This leader will drive operational excellence across multiple product categories and countries, while ensuring flexibility and resilience in a fast-moving innovation driven environment.
The Sr. Director, Supply Chain Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Own end-to-end supply chain operations across Shoes, Handbags, Swim, and Jewelry - from raw material sourcing to warehouse delivery
- Lead vendor strategy for a supply chain spanning 10+ factories across 5+ countries and proactively manage relationships and performance while overseeing production
- Oversee Materials Research & Development with a sharp focus on identifying, testing, and scaling next-generation sustainable materials
- Champion the organization's sustainability mission - help lead the industry in sustainable practices from raw material sourcing and circular design to end-of-life take back programs
- Identify and implement supply chain technologies, process improvements, and analytics to enhance visibility and performance
The Sr. Director, Supply Chain Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, materials, and production - preferably within fashion accessories/footwear
- Deep knowledge of footwear, accessories, or multi-category product supply chains
- Proven track record of building and managing international vendor networks, with expertise in supplier diversification strategies
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative and technical teams and translating innovation into action
