Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a proactive, preventive, and positive QHSE culture to protect people, assets, and the environment.
- Ensure compliance with German and international laws and standards, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act, DGUV regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the Circular Economy Act.
- Develop, maintain, and further develop an integrated management system (IMS) and conduct regular internal and external audits.
- Monitor and manage incidents, near-misses, and hazards in onshore and offshore areas, and develop sustainable solutions.
- Plan and conduct risk analyses, and create and revise risk assessments and operating instructions.
Requirements
- Completed studies or further training in occupational safety (e.g., safety engineer) or comparable qualifications.
- Several years of professional experience as a QHSE manager, management representative, or in a comparable position, ideally in the offshore industry.
- In-depth knowledge of national and international HSE standards and practical experience with management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Additional offshore certificates such as BOSIET, HUET, GWO, or STCW are an advantage.
- Strong skills in analyzing and solving complex problems, especially in accident management and prevention.
