Structural Analysis Engineer
About the Role
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Aerospace company who are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Structural Analysis Engineer to join their engineering team, focusing on the structural integrity and certification of Part 23 aircraft. In this role, you will perform stress analysis for both new and modified aircraft designs, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and contributing to the safety and performance of our aircraft.
What You'll Do
- Analyze metallic and composite aircraft structures under static and dynamic loads using classical methods and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Develop Finite Element Models to assess internal loads, identify stress concentrations, and support design optimization.
- Prepare technical documentation including stress reports, test plans, and substantiation packages for FAA certification.
- Support structural and fatigue testing, including test planning, execution, and data interpretation.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and service bulletins to ensure structural compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, materials, and senior structural engineers.
- Recommend lightweight, cost-effective, and high-quality structural solutions that align with project goals.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural analysis, testing, or design within the aerospace sector.
- Strong understanding of aircraft structures, materials, and FAA certification processes.
- Proficiency in FEA tools and modeling techniques (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS, or similar).
- Familiarity with FAA Part 23 regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
